Uhm, not exactly, Shawn.
The average modern day man’s perceptions are somewhere in between the two extremes.
It’s almost entirely women who love the skinny model look.
Black where, Lyn? I know what point you’re trying to make but in North America, Black women are the most overweight so do you mean in an African country? If so, which one (there are many but there are others where this is not the case).

Venus of Willendorf was not merely a sex symbol, she was revered as a goddess in ancient times. The large breasts & wide hips represented fertility. The large belly represented life giving pregnancy.
Very Ironic.
It’s sad that men have so devolved, placating themselves into that soft-bodied retreat , away from his inner warrior crying out for competence, self-determination and the ability to contribute to others with humility and humor.
The primitive, primal feminine figure as worshipped long ago represented, embodied, the very abundance of Nature itself, an unstoppable and eternal source…how could that feminine abundance, source of all that nourishes all life, be held within the image of what we force the feminine into today? Poor girl looks like she can barely give birth to one step in front of the other…
But we all know the world is upside down and inside out and crazy, yes? We all know by now that we must live a different way, in whatever way we can and in every way we can. We’ll find our way through this.

Women is the most beautiful creation in our planet, and been model woman is an art, the power of mind of some women to keep themselves as a qualified model is critical, and make them look bad some times.
